At 33Hope, I create handmade pieces using locally sourced, upcycled, and scrap materials. Each piece is individually crafted to tell a unique story of new beginnings. My commitment to sustainability and artistry drives my passion, pushing me to work with new materials and mediums.
Mission
I use only natural oils to finish my products. While they may not last forever, they evolve through natural cycles, just like everything else in the universe. I invite you to embrace the journey of my products as they age gracefully, reflecting the essence of the environment from which they come.
Materials
Wood - Gathered from areas around Western New York. Finished with water resistant natural oils. (Unless specified otherwise)
Driftwood is not finished with oil, it is thoroughly cleaned and left natural.
Jewelry
Bits & Beads - Thrifted or gifted. Cleaned throughout the process and before each show.
Clasps & Posts - Clasps and earring posts are purchased new, also cleaned before each show.
Leather
Chokers - High quality leather I receive as pounds of mismatch scraps from an artist in Italy.
Purses/wallets - Thrifted or gifted
Clothing
Blankets - Thrifted or gifted.
Hoodies - If thrifted, I try to source personalized pieces. (People's names, schools, sports teams) Otherwise gifted.
Everything else is donation based!
All pieces washed multiple times.
